We’re looking for a versatile and growth-orientated individual who can help further develop the digital component of our growing business while effectively selling within our brick and mortar store. This job requires in-personal selling; candidates need to be friendly, helpful, and people oriented as they’ll be on the floor with customers throughout the week. Must be able to sell to customers and effectively complete (a reasonable) to-do list during shifts. Candidate must have experience with Instagram Business and also creating Instagram Stories.
There is always downtime during the day. Candidates must be willing and able to work on their digital strategy contributions during the slow times and effectively pivot to selling /customer support when people come into the store.
In terms of a candidate’s digital contributions, we’re looking for someone with strengths in some combination of the following:
- Copywriting (captioning, sales copy, website copy, email subject line copy)
- Social media strategy
- Photography for social media and Web (flat lays, product shots, etc.)
- Digital marketing (email strategy, lead pages, email funnel help etc).
- Strategizing on web development.
- Experience with photoshop, canva, illustrator, etc.
- Graphic design experience/proficiency.
A portfolio demonstrating the ways you could help build our company is strongly encouraged.
Training and weekly support/check-ins are part of this job. Candidate will be given direction but also freedom to iterate and create content or collateral in line with our brand identity and current projects.
Saturday and/or Sunday availability a must + 1 to 2 shifts per week. Pay is $17 per hour + % of digital sales a candidate brings in.
